For as long as I can remember, I've gravitated towards fragrance-free products. My skincare, body care and even most of my haircare are all fragrance free. Not because I don't love scent, but because I found that layering multiple fragrances throughout the day often became overwhelming.
It made me wonder why wearing perfume had to feel so all or nothing.
That question became the starting point for Iseult.
I wanted to create a fragrance that felt personal. Something that would sit close to the skin, blending with the scent of freshly moisturised skin rather than competing with every other product in your routine.
Less fragrance, more intention
I wanted the opposite of the intense perfume on the market.
A fragrance that quietly becomes part of you. One that's noticed in a hug or by someone sitting beside you, rather than the moment you walk into a room.
Why subtle fragrance feels more modern
There's a shift happening in the way we wear fragrance. Instead of bold, overpowering perfumes, more people are searching for subtle perfumes, skin scents and clean fragrances that feel effortless enough to wear every day.
At Iseult, our fragrances are intentionally formulated with just 1% fragrance concentration, creating a soft scent that wears close to the skin. It's a different approach to luxury fragrance, one that feels elegant, understated and comfortable.
Fragrance, reimagined
I don't believe smelling good should come from wearing more fragrance. Sometimes the most memorable scents are the ones that make someone lean in and ask, "You smell amazing. What are you wearing?"
That's the feeling I wanted to bottle.
A fragrance that feels like the finishing touch, never the loudest part of the room.
